| A young “Mums Dollar” rising from the west! After forming through the middle of 2006 and a few teething problems, we are on our way. I suppose a band consisting of five young guys will always have its teething problems. You would not believe how hard it is to get schedules meshing, one or two of us always seem to have something on. When we started, the band consisted of Nathan Peters as lead singer and guitar, Josh Borger, electric guitar, Cameron Crawford – drums, Daniel Love – Bass and Jesse Thomas on keyboards. I am not entirely sure if a sounds operator is considered part of the band, but we could not do without Warren Dobbe. The Band, recently named “3 Days Risen” has noticed lately that something was missing. We had a hole. Sure we are all good looking, stylish and have talent to burn – modest too, but to add a bit of true Westie class, Glenn Brown has been invited to join us on his guitar. Knowing Christian music and the niche that it is, we decided recently diversification of our repertoire was necessary; so we are in the process of sourcing and learning some secular party music, as it would be nice to perform gigs at parties and socials in the near future. While we have no idea what God has in store for us, we are holding to His promise “.... that in everything, He works for the good of those who love Him.” It would be nice to see “3 Days Risen”, your youth band, on the main stage of Parachute though.
